What The Health Are Your Priorities?

What do you prioritize in regards to your health?
In this day and age there are so many different factors, habits and daily rituals everyone always tells us we must do in order to be healthy?
But there are SO MANY!
Let's take a look at some potential options:
~Daily exercise
~Weight sessions
~Cardio sessions
~Hydration
~Getting enough sleep
~Stretching
~Meditating
~Eating healthy foods
~Hitting your step target
~Hitting your protein intake/ macros
~Staying within your calorie limit
~Going for a walk outside
ETC ETC ETC ETC ETC
And you have to worry about all of those ON TOP OF your work, social life and hobbies. It seems rather impossible to have it all doesn't it?
I certainly don't.
This is why I bring up priorities.
Everyone's are different. There is no one habit that is better than the rest. Some people prioritise a few things over everything else.
But sometimes trying to figure out what to prioritise is the tricky part. You want to have it all but there are simply not enough hours in the day nor enough room in your brain to hold it all. This can be especially evident in those who are just starting out in their health journey. Everyone is telling them different things and 'you have to do this and this and not that' type of vibe.
Do not listen to them.
If you are new to the whole healthy journey, pick 3-5 habits, and just focus on those. When those are down pat you can start to introduce some others if you want. But start slow so to not overwhelm yourself and eventually burn out.
For me lately, I have been prioritising my healthy eating, workout sessions and sticking to my calorie and macro limits. Which in turn puts my sleep on the back burner (rip I am tired) and my daily steps. My schedule is crazy jampacked at the moment so I had to think of what was most important to me and just go with that. (I do hate that I haven't prioritized sleep but you can't have it all, all of the time :( ).
Bottom line, if you are feeling overwhelmed, stop, pick something or a few things to focus on. Do them well, perfect even and you will feel a whole lot better!
