Let's Chat: Consistency

People often ask: ‘How to I get motivated to workout? How do I motivate myself to cook something healthy? How do I motivate myself to wake up early?


But I believe that it isn’t about motivation at all.


It’s all about being consistent. Making consistent actions.


If you have a specific goal in mind, doing it everyday will bring results.


But how do you get to be that consistent?


Action creates motivation.


For example: Going for a run

Action: Putting your runners on each morning at 7am. Walking out the door. Putting a banger music playlist on. Start moving your feet, a little bit faster each time.

You’re not motivated but you do it anyway.

You start running and eventually you become more motivated. To better yourself and make this a great workout.


And you do this everyday.


CONSISTENCY.


You do this for a few months, and you become fitter and fitter. Having more energy, getting more motivation and achieving more action.


Consistency has helped me regularly go to the gym before work, read lots of books, have great nutrition, stretch everyday and get stronger and stronger.
